Provide icing, and invite children to frost cookies.
Encourage children to make play dough “cookies.” Provide play dough, rolling pens, cookie cutters, and a cookie tray.
Set up a pizza parlor in the Pretend and Learn Center.
Provide English muffins, pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Invite children to make individual pizzas. Bake the pizzas in a toaster oven at 375° F. until the cheese melts. Teach children “Pat a Pie” • “Amasa la masa.”
